Hill Road coLab came out of a passion for working with founders to help build teams that feel connected with purpose, empowered to do great work, and supported by the right systems and processes in place. That’s not always easy, and yet all these things are interconnected.

What’s unique about my approach is that I’ve seen what good looks like at scale through working at multiple Fortune 500 companies, and know how to get my hands dirty having been Head of HR in a fast-growing organization and working in corporate VC helping other founders get started.

I believe that HR is a partnership. We’re always testing, learning, and iterating what’s best for your company based on foundational frameworks.

Meet Andrea

Andrea Tang is a seasoned People Leader who’s rolled up her sleeves as Head of People in high growth organizations and has implemented frameworks at scale as an Executive and Partner in global Fortune 500 companies. 

Most recently, she spent 6 years in corporate venture capital where she built talent systems and teams to help the fund and portfolio companies scale through their people.

Previously, she led the HR team for Milk Bar during a time of exponential growth and also led the People Strategy at the Momofuku Restaurant Group leading up to their first ever capital raise.

A truly global leader, she’s also led teams across Asia, Europe, and South America.

She has a Masters degree in HR and Organizations (MILR) from Cornell University and undergraduate degree in Psychology from Queen’s University in Canada. In her spare time you can find her hanging out with her husband and son, visiting farm stands, exploring breweries, and hiking in the Hudson Valley.
